On my first drive across the country I just had to pull over to the side of the road when I saw snow in the middle of June. I'm not sure what state this is...one of the big ones. June 2001.

My friend Jenn from high school was a trooper and made the drive with me! Our last night on the road was spent in Idaho at this little motel. We were running out of money by that point and the Best Western was just too darn expensive. We were very excited to get to Seattle! June 2001.

Me, my roommate Alicia, and a few Norwegian boys outside our place on Stone Avenue. This was the first place I lived when I moved back to Seattle after "interviewing" to be a roommate from 3000 miles away. I literally drove across the country, knocked on the door, and said, "I'm your new roommate! We spoke on the phone?" Oh to be 22 again! August 2002.

While in Seattle I obtained my Master's Degree in Industrial/Organizational Psychology from Seattle Pacific University. I love my graduation announcement. Two years later it still cracks me up. The effects of snowfall in Seattle. Winter of 2008 we got hit with almost two feet of snow over the course of a few days. Seattle is not equipped for such weather outside the mountain passes. This was my bus and it stayed like that for days. I worked from home for a week. December 2008.
